The suspension system is intended fo the folding doors of a garage or similar building, where the doors are hung from a top rail, which is of inverted U-channel section with re-entrant lower edge flanges. For the middle sections, within the channel and upon the flanges, roll two similar wheels of disc form. These are attached to a block into which is fixed a vertical shaft which has an elastomeric ring support. For the end sections, the lower tip of the shaft has a screwed and bolted joint which is clamped to cheek plates which are screwed to the upper edges of the doors away from the folds. Two plastic washers are accommodated in the joint.
