摘要 <p>1311432 Substituted ureas IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 13 Dec 1971 [7 Jan 1971] 777/71 Heading C2C [Also in Division A5] Novel substituted ureas of the formula and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, wherein either R<SP>1</SP> is ethyl, R<SP>2</SP> is bromophenyl and the group -NHCONHR<SP>2</SP> is in the meta-position, or R<SP>1</SP> is isopropyl, isobutyl, isopentyl or phenyl, R<SP>2</SP> is chlorophenyl, bromophenyl, nitrophenyl, ethoxyphenyl or tolyl and the group -NHCONHR<SP>2</SP> is in the meta- or para-position, or R<SP>1</SP> is chlorophenyl, R<SP>2</SP> is C 3-10 alkyl and the group -NHCONHR<SP>2</SP> is in the meta-position, or R<SP>1</SP> is chlorophenyl or tolyl, R<SP>2</SP> is phenyl or o-chlorophenyl and the group NHCONHR<SP>2</SP> is in the para-position are prepared by one of the following processes: (a) reacting the appropriate 1-R<SP>1</SP>-3-(aminophenyl) guanidines with isocyanates of the formula R<SP>2</SP>NCO; (b) reacting thioureido compounds of the Formula III with ammonia in the presence of a catalyst; (c) reacting alkyl or aralkyl thiourium salts derived from thioureas of the above Formula III with ammonia; or (d) oxidizing thioureido compounds of the Formula V 1 - (3 - p - Chlorophenylureido - 3 - (3 - isobutylthioureido)benzene is obtained by reacting p-chlorophenyl isocyanate with 1-isobutyl-3-mphenylaminothiourea. 1 - (p - Chlorophenyl) - 3 - (m - aminophenyl)- guanidine dihydrochloride is prepared by reacting ammonia in the presence of mercuric oxide with 1-(p-chlorophenyl)-3-(m-aminophenyl)thiourea, obtained by reacting p-chlorophenyl isothiocyanate with m-phenylenediamine. 1 - (3 - Isopropylthioureido) - 3 - (3 - p - chlorophenylureido)benzene is made by reacting isopropyl isothiocyanate with 3-(3-p-chlorophenylureido)aniline resulting from the reaction between m-phenylenediamine and p-chlorophenyl isocyanate. 1 - Isobutyl - 3 - (m - aminophenyl)guanidine dihydrochloride is prepared by reacting ammonia in the presence of mercuric oxide with 1-isobutyl-3-(m-aminophenyl)thiourea obtained by reacting isobutyl isothiocyanate with m-phenylenediamine.</p>
