The present invention relates to an alkali-activated concrete composition with improved expression of initial strength and field applicability by using a binding material which is prepared by adding an alkaline activator to modified slag without using Portland cement. In the present invention, the concrete composition comprises coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, water, a binding material, and an alkaline activator. The binding material includes modified slag, and at least one selected from the group consisting of common fly ash, fly ash with a high degree of fineness, and silica fume. The alkaline activator includes sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate. More particularly, the alkaline activator includes, based on 100 parts by weight of the alkaline activator: 30 to 70 parts by weight of sodium hydroxide; and 30 to 70 parts by weight of sodium silicate. |
