A much wider choice of amt. and type of polymer is possible than from the limited range of copolymers available. Accelerators or catalysts are a added to match the polymerise. rate of the monomer to the cross-linking rate of the polymer. The mixt. may contain usual fillers and fibres. By use of redox systems, the reaction may be carried out at room temp.</p>
