Each ski is held by straps (41) secured by wing nuts (29) to rotatable plates (16) mounted on ball bearings (33) which are supported by the base plate (24). The base plate (24) is secured to the trolley by the bolt (25). The trolley has two wheels (21) the rim of which has a curved cross-section to match the surface of the cambered tubular rail (11). The trolley is held in a central position by tension springs (19a) (19b) attached to hooks. The hooks are attached to the box section cross members to which the rail is welded. The apparatus is a means for an accurate simulation of the physical movements which are necessary when ski-ing.
