The ship has a propeller with drive shaft, mounted on a separate section (22) of the stern. The section has a lower frame (28) and bearing brackets (24) for the propeller (86), which is rigidly connected to a shaft end (19). An upper adjustable swivel connection has double arms (10) and swivel arms (20) on the deck surface (14) of the hull (18) and the upper end of the stern section (22), to fasten the stern relative to the hull. There is a removable locking connection between the lower frame of the stern section, and the hull. A removable shaft coupling (80) between the neighbouring ends of the drive shaft (78) and the shaft end of the propeller, is positioned in the plane of the upper and lower connections.
