<p>The switch contacts (2, 11) are operated by a soft magnetic rotor (3) which is positioned between the poles of an electromagnet. The movable contact (2) is positioned at one end of a plate (9), which moves through the plane of the rotor axis (8) between a position in which the contacts (2, 11) are closed together and one in which they are spaced apart, the rotating rotor (3) having projections (17, 18) contacting the plate (9) to move it between its two end positions. The rotor (3) and the plate (9) are connected together by a tension spring (14), which ensures that the rotor axis (8) and the connection points (15, 16) of the spring (14) to the rotor (3) and the plate (9) respectively, are in line, for both open and closed positions of the switch.</p> |
