The transporter vehicle for powdered and granular material has a scattering mechanism. The transporter hopper is also provided with an outlet and a loader. The screw loader is actuated by a power takeoff shaft. The hopper is readily loaded by the loader which can be pivoted about two axes for reaching required position. The second axis (14) is at right angles to the first axis. A return feed chute (35) is provided at the hopper (4) outlet (35) for returning material into the loader (10). The loader may also be able to rotate about a third axis which is at right angles to the travelling direction. The loader facilitates loading of the hopper even if the material is not readily accessible otherwise.
