The tubular connector for corrugated telephone cables consists of two clamping elements (4, 5) which surround and hold the two ends of the cables (1, 2) to be joined. These clamping elements are maintained together by an external ring assembly (13). The internal faces of the clamping elements having a succession of annular corrugations (8, 9) which fit over the corrugations on the exterior of the cables. The clamping elements are threaded on their exterior surface (6a, 7a) the ring (13) being screwed onto the clamping elements. This ring is screwed up against a cap (16) which is formed at one end of the clamping elements.
