<p>The transformer coils are produced from wire turns impregnated with non-cured epoxy resin and wound in layers on a coil former with intermediate layer of resin impregnated fibre winding. The wound coil is coated by an insulating layer and the epoxy resin is cured after finished winding. The coil former is coated with a prime insulation of resin impregnated fibre layer preferably of laminated glass etc., this layer being in such state that it is in the form of a gel during the winding process, in which at least one layer of wire with resin impregnation is deposited, with a following coating of a second resin impregnated fibre layer. Preferably the assembly forms an axially supported annular body.</p> |
