1503113 Container lifting and tipping vehicle INNOVATION SERVICES CO OY 2 March 1976 [5 March 1975 19 Jan 1976] 08222/76 Headings B8E and B8Q A U-shaped lifting frame is pivotally mounted by arms 20, 21a on the U-shaped chassis 10a of a trailer and is actuated by piston cylinder devices 30a on each side. Reaction rods 33a are pivoted at 34 to the top of the arms 21a and by a pin 35 engage in a groove 44 of a guide 36. A locking plate 37 can be pivoted by a handle 41 between locked and unlocked positions. The arrangement of the cylinders 30a is such that extension of the piston-rod will with the pin 35 unlocked lower the lifting frame to a load pickup position while with a load in the transport position and the pin 35 locked, with the pivots 24 being openable, extension of the piston-rods will tip the load about 22. In one example, Fig. 6, the width of the lifting frame and chassis are adjustable the beams 51, 61 being slidable in tubular ports 52a, 52b, 62a, 62b and movable by a double acting hydraulic cylinder 57. Locking means are provided to hold the ports after adjustment. The ram 57 may be placed by a power operated screw threaded spindle. |
