Triangular concrete slabs with encastre kerb - are of triangular plan with kerb at apex or hypotenuse

The precast concrete triangular slab units (1, 7) have monolithic kerb type upstands (3, 13), and can be used for defining flower beds or sand pits within paved areas or providing patterns on slabbed areas. There are two complementary forms (1, 7) which when placed alternately in line derive a uniform width slab ribbon with a continuous uniform kerb on one longitudinal edge. Pref. the units are of right angled 45 deg. or isosceles triangular shape in plan. The upstanding kerb segment (3, 13) on each unit is provided in the right angle apex or on the opposite side, the external vertical kerb faces (2, 10, 11, 12) are continuations of slab edge faces. The angle formed between the inner vertical kerb face and the slab top face is rounded, and keys can be provided between units.
