<p>The water/air-tight joint for double-glazed windows, consists of a flexible rectangular section strip (1) of material such as rubber, polyvinyl, polyurethane or similar. Two opposite faces (2, 3) are coated with a layer (4) of a non-hygrometric adhesive such as silicone. The top face (6) is coated with a layer of a drying material such as a silica gel. The layer of adhesive (4) on one of the two sides is covered by a protective film, and for storage purposes, the strip is rolled up to form reels of any required length.</p> |
