<p>The machine for the precision cutting of tensioned paper bands into strip, features precise controls aligning and correcting the alignement of rotary cutters w.r.t. the band, and incorporates two pulsation generators. A primary unit has an operating speed related to that of the traction roller and acting upon receipt of a pulsation from a photo-electric vertification head. A secondary unit works in synchronization with the cutter and acting at a specific rotor position. Further components effect compristions of generator signals together with the imparting of terminal motions to the generators whereby relative paper band to cutter speed is varted via phased motor regulation. The secondary generator acts as authorized by an internal pulse recorder which counts a specific number of pulsations i.e. number related to band length.</p> |
