<p>A kitchen cupboard has shelves with one or more circular recesses (7) whose diameters are as large as possible. Each recess has a concentric annular shoulder (8) either locating a plastic moulded baseplate (9) forming an annular track (10) or forming a track. A circular cage (12) fitted with ball bearings (11) runs in this track, its upper face supporting a turntable (13) also made from plastic. The turntable has a top surface level with that of the shelf, and is retained by a central pivot peg fitting in the baseplate or shelf. Articles placed on the turntable are accessible by rotating it, a raised rim (17) preventing articles slipping off.</p> |
