<p>The stillage is rectangular, its frame being of tubular construction covered with wire mesh. The long sides of the frame are separate and comprise an upright each end joined by spacers at the top and bottom. On top of each upright is a positioning cup for stacking. The ends of the frame, are similar and fixed to the long sides by pegs locating in sockets. The bottom also has a tubular frame with wire mesh. It locates in U bearings on each long side being locked by pins. One set of bearings faces downwards, the other upwards. The maize cobs can be discharged by releasing the bottom.</p> |
