<p>The cable-operated mechanism for raising and lowering of vehicle windows, consists of a bucket-shaped drum (6) wedged onto a hub (3), the open end being opposite the hub's flange (15). An external rim (11) which rotates on the hub between the open end of the drum and the flange, has teeth which mesh with corresponding elastic teeth on the drum itself. One end of the cable is attached to the drum and the other to the rim and the flange has curved openings extending along a circumference coaxial with relation to the control shaft (4) and opposite to a number of hollows made on the rim on a circumference approximately the same as that of the said curved openings. The cable can thus be adjusted by means of a forked key inserted through the openings which can rotate the rim.</p> |
