<p>The device comprises a casing with a central charging funnel and a horizontal rotor with axially spaced perforated discs which form an open central space below the funnel and two closed end chambers. Forked heaters are hinged on the rotor in the central space where the wet feed is crushed and sucked through the disc perforations into the end chambers where it is milled by circular heaters mounted on longitudinal axles connected to the discs. The circular heaters pref. have alternately smooth and fluted surfaces.</p> |
