<p>The injector is installed in a chamber and reacts to the working medium applied in pulsating fashion including the gaps between the pulses. An opening (8) is made noticeably larger than the secondary air intake opening (6) in the upstream portion of a combustion tube. If a pressure wave falls into the tube (2) from the reflection wall (4) the main part enters through the opening (8) and is reflected only when it reaches the wall (9) which seals off the secondary air chamber (7). Thus, a greater quantity of air is pressurized in the tube (2) through the opening (6), especially of the upstream portion of the tube (2) is cone-shaped.</p> |
