The sleeping bag with a inflatable mattress (3) and upper coverlet (2), has a relatively wide peripheral webbing (15) on the mattress facilitating coverlet attachment. The mattress and coverlet are united via this wide webbing on one long side (7) and the webbing is preferably 15 to 35 mm wide. A sliding clasp fastener (5) is incorporated along three sides of the sleeping bag or alternatively to three sides of the coverlet and to a small side and adjacent sections of two long sides on the mattress. The webbing (15) can be variously equipped to connect to a coverlet or similar, to form a sleeping bag.
