<p>1456285 Coating apparatus GEMA AG APPARATEBAU 19 July 1974 [19 July 1973] 32160/74 Heading B2L An electrostatic powder coating installation comprises a chamber 11 with a movable band filter 24, one face of which bounds the chamber 11 and the opposite face of which confronts an inlet 26 of a suction device 29, and a cleaning device for removing excess powder from the filter and delivering it to a container 41. The filter 24 may be a continuous band (Fig. 3, not shown) or transferred from a reel 33 to a second reel 39, passing through lateral U-shaped guides 36 of reducing leg length in its direction of motion which is opposite that of articles 16 conveyed through the chamber 11. The filter 24 may be cleaned by air from a nozzle 40, or by a rotating brush or beater, a second filter 30 cleaning the air discharged from the suction fan 31.</p> |
