Pallet securing bands - fitted over dividing lines of stacking layers for using minimum material

The pallet (1) has the load stacked in horizontal layers with securing bands (7) fitted across the seams of the horizontal layers, so that each band secured two layers. The bands are of elastic material and are more effective than a complete cover and with much less material. Also, with only the top band removed, to release the top layer of goods, the rest of the stack remains secured. The bands are less damaging to the goods than conventional steel hoops.
