<p>The cotter-pinned (23) bolt is used to fix the blade (24) of a grasding machine onto a support plate. The bolt traverses aligned holes in the blade and the support plate. The bolt head is anchored in the support plate, and the cotter traverses the free bolt end to wedge the blade against the support. The cotter is a wedge shaped plate with a nose which is cranked relative to both aixes. The bolt head is of square cross-section and is located in a square recess in the support plate. A bolted cover plate secures the bolt head in the recess. The cotter (23) passes through a diametrical slot (22) which is formed in the bolt shaft.</p> |
