The windscreen wiper blade assembly consists of three parts. The blade itself (10) is made of rubber and has an interrupted T-shaped web on its back face (24). The blade is mounted on a plastic flexible support bar (12) which has interrupted longitudinal slots (22) whose ends are enlarged (26) to accept the T-shaped blade web. The bar has ribs (20) to increase its rigidity. Two curved elastic supports (14) connected to the wiper arm clasp the underside of the plastic bar by hooks (16) and have lips (18) at their outermost ends to prevent lengthways sliding of the bar and blade.
