<p>The insulating glazing comprises two, or more, panes of glass, with peripherally aligned spacers between them. These spacers (1) are in the form of tubes (2), connected on the side facing the panes (12, 13) with a strip of elastic material (6, 7). The panes come to into position on the open side of the strips. The strips may be made of elastomer plastic, or other synthetic material, and may be vulcanised onto the tube. They may have lugs which penetrate holes in the tubes. The open side of the strips may be ridged, and they may be 2 cm. thick between the tube and the panes.</p> |
