The radiator mounting pieces are attached to inlet and return pipies on the walls of the room. Both pipes (2, 3) are of circular or polygonal cross-section and run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the radiator (1). The other end of the radiator has sliding or push guides which are also attached to the wall in mountings in which they can slide. This arrangement permits installation without welding. The pipes can be openly mounted or enclosed using an ordinary spanner.
