<p>The automatic disinfectant dispersal unit is for use in conjection with water closet (1) seats (2). When incorporated on closets with a ring seat (2) and a lid (3) which hinge about a common axis, the unit effects dispersal of disinfectant onto the seat surface as the seat and lid come together. Details may include a perforated (10) ring pipe (6) which is mounted on the underside of the lid (3). This perforated pipe is positioned to meet the centroid of the upper surfaces of the seat (2), and is connected by a flexible tube (8) to a pressurised cannister (7) of disinfectant liquid. As the lid (3) and seat (2) come together an 'S' shaped cantilever arm (5) which is mounted on the seat (2) encounters a cannister valve lever (9).</p> |
