PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make both compatible in restraint of a variation in vehicle deceleration to operation of a brake pedal and restraint of generation of fluid pressure by calculation processing of fluid pressure characteristic data.SOLUTION: Rigidity (that is, downstream rigidity) of a brake liquid pressure circuit changes by a variation in calipers of wheel cylinders 3L, 3R, 4L and 4R, as well as the temperature, an abrasion condition and the deterioration of a friction pad. A first ECU 26 comprises fluid pressure characteristic calculation means for calculating fluid pressure characteristic data for an operation quantity of a brake pedal 5 for realizing a brake characteristic corresponding to the downstream rigidity by the operation quantity, a motor position of an electric motor 21 and brake liquid pressure by a hydraulic pressure sensor 29. In brake pedal operation time on and after calculating the fluid pressure characteristic data by this fluid pressure characteristic calculation means, control of the electric motor 21 is executed in response to a target fluid pressure value calculated on the basis of the fluid pressure characteristic data used in brake pedal operation time of the last time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
