<p>A process and appts. for carrying out clinical and chemical analyses of samples. The sample is brought into contact with a specific reagent in order to produce a change of enthalpy which is automatically detected and converted to give a signal. Pref. applications include bringing together a sample of an enzyme with a substrate, a sample of human or animal plasma protein for identification with specific or non-specific anti-serums. Samples without antigen capability can be tested by coupling them with antigen base molecules, e.g. mannitine coupled with albumin. A further pref. application is the identification of blood gps. and Rh factors using treated serums as antibody reagent. Partic. useful for blood tests and a wide range of diagnostic applications in bacteriology, rheumatology, virology, parasitology, toxicology, pharmacology, identification of allergies etc. rapid, automatic solns. from inexpensive simple equipment covering.</p> |
