Fixing rail for corgueated sheets - has holes for parker screw and honeycomb plastic matrix inside inverted rail anchored to concrete

The rail is used for assembling corrugated sheets on a support structure. The individual corrugations have trapezoid cross-section. The rail (10) consists of an inverted U-section (1) with anchors (11) protruding from the open side at regular intervals. These anchors are eventually cast into the concrete. The cavity of the U is filled with a honeycomb foam plastics material (2) which prevents the concrete (3) from penetrating inside the rail. The corrugated sheets are attached to the upper part (7) of the rail by means of Parker screws (6). When holes are drilled for the screws, the drill pierces the plastic material without touching the concrete and the screw can therefore be properly tightened, without reaching the concrete, giving a more secure anchorage.
