<p>The circular saw is moved from a rest position perpendicularly in the direction of the cut to be made and then returned to the rest position again. The disc-shaped blade (7) is covered on both surfaces, and on its circumference, by a protective housing (16). This has an aperture (17) in the working area of the blade (7). The hole extends through the two-sided saw blade surface, and has a guide for insertion of a further tool such as a slider (18) for releasing and subsequent covering of the saw blade working surface. This slider (18) acts a retaining holder for the workpiece (3) to be cut, and has a compensating shape and arrangement fitted to the contours of the workpiece (3).</p> |
