The dinghy hull is divided into four quadrants by one transverse bulkhead and one longitudinal bulkhead. Each section is self supporting, so that the bulkhead walls, when assembled are double skinned. The two rear sections stack into each other with the transverse bulkhead inclined to form wedge shaped. The bows sections (1, 2) are not more than half the length of the rear sections so that they can be stacked into one layer. The collapsed boat is covered by a rigid cover for winter storage, with the mast broken down into sections bolted under the cover. The boat takes up a minimum of space, and with only half the width of a hull, can be stored in attics etc.
|
