Central heating system for individual houses - incorporates gas turbine between burner and heat exchanger to increase efficiency

The oil or gas burner in a combustion chamber (7) is supplied with air under pressure from a blower (4) driven by an electric motor (1). The combustion through a heat exchanger (10) in which they heat hot water for a central heating system. All these components are contained in a conventional central heating boiler. A gas turbine (12) is interposed between the combustion chamber (7) and the heat exchanger (10). Its shaft (14) is coupled to an electric generator (16) which can supply the drive motor of the fan, and provide electricity distribution network. Alternatively, the fan as well as the generator is mounted directly on the gas turbine shaft.
