<p>The kitchen tap has a rotatable water tube which is sealed in place in a bore in a body (10). The portion of the tube which is received in the bore has a lower annular groove (5) in which is received an O-ring seal (4). A second ring (6) is received in an upper groove (16), this ring, bearing on the bevelled surface of a split retaining ring (7). There is a clearance between the ring (7) and the tube, the upper end of the ring being turned in to bear on the tube (1). The retaining ring has a groove in its outer surface, this receiving a shoulder (13) at the top of a groove in the body.</p> |
