<p>1529639 Joining ducts VAVRA PLAT AB 21 July 1976 [13 Aug 1975] 30285/76 Heading F2G A joining arrangement for ventilation ducts of rectangular or square cross-section comprises first and second members adapted to be fixed to the duct ends 3, 4 respectively, the first member being of U-shape 5 having a raised edge 6 and a lip 7, and, the second member having an S-shaped port 8 integral with a L- shaped port 9, 10 terminating in a lip 11, the arrangement being such that the lip 11 engages over the edge 6 and the lip 7 is received into one of the S-bands with a snap action. The members 5, 8 may be secured to the members 3, 4 by spot welding, rivets, screws or glue. Seals 12 may be provided as shown and a seal may also be provided at the corners of the joint for details of which the Specification should be referred to.</p> |
