When the hood is needed to filter air, the movable frame is withdrawn partially or completely, depending upon requirements. Further, again depending on conditions, a flap 67 may be pivoted from a vertical to an inclined position, causing air to flow through the front of the frame, beneath a baffle 36<SP>1</SP>. The edges of the filters 50, 51 are bevelled to facilitate movement. |
