<p>The electric field equalising device or electrostatic deioniser for buildings, aircraft etc., neutralises fields produced by natural causes such as earth currents, atmospheric ionisation, metal objects, electrical equipment and prevents lightening discharges on buildings, vehicles, ships and aircraft. The device consists of a circuit composed of three identical circles arranged so that two are tangential and the third intersects both their centres. Two isosceles triangles are positioned with their bases tangential one to each of the two tangential circles and with their apices in line with the line joining the centres of the circles. The circuit is located in a sealed groove and supplied with a dc or ac voltage (at 5 and 6).</p> |
