<p>The sealing device is for a vessel containing a medium under pressure such a propellant gas bottle for a fire extinguisher. The bottle cap (5) accommodates a screw (20), so that a round sealed joint (21) is formed between them. A passage (34) in the screw leads from the inside to the outside, and is shut off by a seal (22) broken from outside by a control lever (12). A filler opening is provided, shut off by the screw. The sealed joint can be formed between a circular cutting edge bearing against an end face, and forming part of cap and screw respectively.</p> |
