Support for central heating pipe embedded in concrete - has T-section tail fitting in slot in support plate and flexible curved arms

The support clips are for use with the pipes of central heating systems which are installed in ceilings or under floors and afterwards covered with concrete. The clips have flexible curved arms (6, 7) to fit around the pipe with a flat base (5) and tee section tail (9). The tail (9) is rectangular in shape with the longer side transverse to the pipe axis. The tail (9) is fitted into a slightly larger rectangular hole in the supporting plate. The clip is then rotated through 90 deg. so that the slots (8) grip the plate thickness and retain the clip in position. The pipe can then be pushed through the gap (4) and retained by the arms (6, 7).
