<p>Full disc brake is esp. designed for commercial vehicles and has a two-part brake housing screwed on its outer circumference and two axially movable but circumferentially fixed brake discs (10, 11). The brake housing flange (61) together with the wheel (4) is attached to the hub flange (31). The inner contour of the brake housing halves (6, 7) and of the spreading unit (12) facilitates the removal of the brake pads. Where a mechanically operated spreading unit is employed, the central axis of the cam operation (15) lies inside the circumference of the hub flange (31).</p> |
