<p>The adjustable volumetric metering device for powdery materials comprises a loading funnel whose exterior outlet tube can be blocked, at its extremity, by a movable plug. One wall of the outlet tube (5) of the funnel (1) forms a cavity (13) in which an inflatable membrane (14) is placed. On inflation, a stopper (17) is formed which obstructs the tube (5) and encloses a metered quantity (18) of powdery matter between the stopper (17) and the movable plug (9). The device is simple and reliable and is capable of adequate precision for many practical applications.</p> |
