Switching point for underfloor drive transporting system - has domed grooved cap for protecting switching rod

The switching mechanism is used for switching points of the transporter system with underfloor actuation. The switching arrangement has a vertically raised protection cap at the side of the switching point. This cap has a slot from which projects a stop rod which is actuated by the actuating pin on the vehicle travelling over the floor. The cap protects the projecting switching rod against the trolley wheel or against objects dragged on the floor. The protection cap (8) has a flat underside and a domed top and it is fixed on the floor (1). The rise angle of the cap varies between 10 deg. and 45 deg. The cap has several longitudinal grooves allowing the passage of the pins on the trolley.
