Anaerobic fermentation plant producing methane from stable litter - using temp. jacketed fermentation vessels supplied with recycled seeding fluid

Plant comprises at least theree fermentations vessels in which vegetable matter is supplied with a seeding fluid which is recycled to its storage tank. Heat is provided keep each vessel at optimum fermentation temp. and the generated gas can be vented to atmos. or piped to a storage gasometer. Methane generated in the plant is pref. employed to heat water circulated in the fermentation vessels, except during start up and emergency periods when propane is piped in from an external source. Fermentation takes place at controlled, optimum temp. and seeding fluid, usually liq. manure, is recycled through out the anaerobic process. Emptying waste material from fermentation vessels is facilitated by pivoting the vessels.
