<p>The fixture consists (1) of a blind rivet (2) with nail (3), and a plate or wsher (4) threaded onto the rivet (2) which has a sleeve (5) forming part of the shank of the rivet (2). The plate (4) is preferably circular, and has the rivet (2) going through its centre. The rivet, plate and sleeve form one unit for immediate use. The length of the sleeve is roughly corresponding to the thickness of the sheet of material being fixed, and forms a brace between the plate and the wall of the building. The plate and sleeve are made of metal.</p> |
