The car seat belt has two anchored straps of unequal length and united by a buckle, and includes pivoting arm which brings the short strap (29) into a deployed position. Normally, the arm is set flush in the coachwork to emerge as body weight is applied to the seat (B) and vice versa. The arm has an intermediate fulcrum, has a buckle half (30) mounted on the free end, and is displaced by leverage (12, 13) which is built into the seat's interior springing. In the case of a double bench seat two such arms are provided in the seat centre and are formed by a doubled tendon in a tubular sheath. The tendons form loops (14) at each arm heel and traversed by a transverse spring (19). The spring (19) ties the free ends of two end-pinned levers (12, 13) which are built into the seat springing (15, 16).
|
