The self-expanding anchor belt has a cylindrical body absorbing axial leads parts being reduced in dia. to form a shoulder. It is extended by an expansion section for an expanding and contracting anchoring section fitting round the part of reduced dia. A locking device is coupled to the expansion section, having one or more lugs working, with the anchoring section. The locking device (11) is so shaped as to ensure that the anchoring section (10) is contracted when wanted.
