<p>A dispensing nozzle (9) for a petrol pump has an indicator (4) mounted near the operating trigger (6) so that the user can readily read the quantity delivered, and possibly the value. This indicator is connected with the indicator conventionally mounted on the petrol pump by a light guide (10) incorporated with the delivery tube (5), or inside the tube. The indicator can be mounted on the side of the pistol grip, and may include an indicator lamp. Further alternate designs have the indicator mounted behind the pistol grip, possibly on the tube. The indicator may be a digital or analogue indicator, and luminescent diodes may be used, or liquid crystals.</p> |
