The portable packaging is suitable in particular for detergents in powder form and has a corrugated-board body blank (1) and carrying handles (6). So that the packaging can be easily printed, is leaktight and can be stacked, the body blank (1) which is open at the top end is placed in a film bag (4) which at the top is provided with the carrying handles (6) and is folded together and closed underneath said handles. The film bag (4) tightly surrounds the body blank (1) and thus stabilises the shape of the package. A packaging of this type does not require any board for its production and a separate attachment (for example riveting) of the carrying handles to such a board is dispensed with. <IMAGE>
