<p>A vegetable drying tower is divided by horizontal partition into a number of sections through which hot air is blown in a zigzag stream from bottom to top. Each sections has an inclined conveyor which transports the vegetables in one direction on the top strand, drops them to the bottom strand just before the return pulley, and then discharges just before the return pulley through a chute to the next lower section conveyor.</p> |
