<p>The rail, provided with rollers, is intended to be used for conveying packages by gravity down an incline and consists of a metal profile (1) which is folded over to form two flanges (2) under which a cradle (5) holding the roller (4) can be hooked (7). The base of the profile has regular perforations (10) for fixing the rail to the racks on which the packages are stored. The cradle is preferably moulded plastic and the axle (3) of the roller locates in a slot (1) provided in the sides. The cradles can be positioned anywhere along the length of the rail and the gap between any two is filled by spacers (9) which are made to appropriate lengths and also clip under the rail flanges.</p> |
